Upper School Visual Arts Teacher- Part Time

McDonogh School is in search of a part-time Upper School Visual Arts Teacher with a passion for creating dynamic and student-centered educational experiences. A strong candidate possesses the ability to utilize a wide range of artistic media in order to develop students’ creative confidence, curiosity, and technical ability. It is essential that they possess a breadth of artistic and educational experience in addition to a deep understanding of their personal specialty. The candidate must be comfortable working in a high energy and fast-paced environment within which the facilitation and management of numerous student projects occur simultaneously. Additionally, the applicant needs to be willing and excited to work with a team that embraces continual ideation, reflection, and development for the advancement of an ever-evolving art program. The teacher will work with students primarily in ninth grade through a survey course. Art-educators with a wide range of experience in different mediums such as but not limited to drawing, painting, photography, video, sculpture, ceramics, fashion, fibers, and digital art are highly encouraged to apply.

Grounds Person

Grounds Persons are essential personnel, they will work under the direction of the Director of Grounds to carry out all duties required to maintain and enhance the grounds and athletic fields of the campus.

Recess Monitor- Lower School

The Lower School is seeking four individuals to cover recess duties daily from approximately 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. during the school year, from late August through early June. Individuals should be warm, nurturing, and effective problem-solvers. Experience with elementary-age students is required. Some training will be provided. Substitute Nurse

The School Nurse provide health services to the McDonogh School community, including first aid treatment, and on-site triage and treatment for injuries and and mild to acute sicknesses. The School Nurse also provides support to students and other community members with chronic illnesses.

Transportation-Bus Driver

The Bus Driver is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of the children, staff, and volunteers during bus transportation to and from the school and on field trips. McDonogh School offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefit package.

Upper School English Teacher
