Making McDonogh Connections in Washington, D.C.
Alumni spanning the classes of 1957 through 2014 joined veteran faculty members - current and retired - for an evening of McDonogh camaraderie in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, March 3. The Cosmos Club served as the perfect venue for guests to connect, reconnect, and hear from Headmaster Charlie Britton on the strong state of McDonogh. In keeping with tradition, when asked by Britton, several alumni successfully recited The McDonogh Uniform by Eustace Glascock, Class of 1879. Alumnus Dudley Ives '65 remarked that the spirit of the evening - establishing and maintaining deep connections and relationships with each other - was the one aspect researchers have discovered leads to happier and healthier lives. Agreed!
