First Graders Squirm!
The Klein Lyceum was filled with creepy crawlies on Thursday, March 10, but there was no need to call the exterminator—it was just the first-grade capstone performance of Squirm! Dressed in costumes they crafted themselves, the children were transformed into worms, snakes, spiders, and bats. They slithered and skittered and wiggled and flapped through a series of songs that proved these creatures have been unjustly vilified. Under the direction of Lower School Music Teacher Beth Rausch, students delivered lines with confidence, sang enthusiastically, and danced with the wild abandon of the creatures they were embodying, all while wriggling their way into the hearts of the audience.
