Childs Memorial Terrace
Childs Memorial Terrace sits in the valley below Elderkin Hall and Tagart Memorial Chapel. Important events such as Convocation, Headmaster’s Day, Closing Ceremonies, and Commencement take place here. It is named in memory of McDonogh’s sixth principal and the first alumnus to head the school, William Talbott Childs, Class of 1895.
