Ways to Visit

We would love to meet you and share McDonogh’s campus and program with your family. We encourage every family interested in applying to McDonogh to spend some time on campus. 

Upper School Campus Welcome & Tours

Join us on a weekday morning in the fall and learn about our Upper School program while touring our thoughtfully curated learning spaces and campus. Prospective parents and students are welcome to attend. Our program begins at 9:00 a.m. and lasts 90 minutes. Fall 2025 dates will be posted over the summer. We look forward to meeting you!

Shadow Day Visits

Be an Eagle for the Day!

Prospective students can spend the day visiting academic and arts classes and enjoy lunch with an Upper School Guide to experience McDonogh on a first-hand basis. All students are hosted in their current grade except ninth-grade applicants who will visit with the ninth grade. Visit dates are held several times a week from October to the middle of January. Visits begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 3:15 p.m. 

Shadow Day visit registration can be completed upon submission of the initial online application form.
