Reunion Weekend Friday Events
Reunion Weekend 2011 on April 29 and 30 provided a perfect opportunity for alumni to reconnect and rediscover what still makes McDonogh "home" for them. Friday's activities began at Bowman House for breakfast, then it was off to Cum Laude in Horn Theatre where former Headmaster and alumnus Bill Mules '59 delivered the address. Afterward, McDonogh's third graders greeted alumni guests at the Kelly Center for a Then & Now session where both alumni and current students gained appreciation for each others' experiences. At lunch, Headmaster Charlie Britton and Associate Headmaster Tim Fish discussed campus life today and the stunning changes that are about to occur as our $75 million McDonogh Forever Campaign launches. Alumni also visited various upper school classes, toured the campus, and attended a Memorial Service in Tagart Chapel. The day culminated with a relaxing cocktail party in the Rollins Quadrangle.
