Inaugural Eagle 5K Takes Flight
On Saturday, May 17, the McDonogh community was “off to the races” with more than 50 students, faculty, alumni, family, and friends on campus for the Alumni Association's inaugural Eagle 5K run. The event also featured a "Little Eagle" one mile Family Fun Run around John McDonogh Stadium and the soccer fields, as well as post-race yoga with Zsa Moyer '13. After the run, alumni got their hands dirty at Roots Farm as they planted, weeded, and bonded in the garden--an effort planned by the Alumni Board's Community Service Committee.
