Thanksgiving Weekend Alumni Events
It wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without family, friends, and homecomings, and McDonogh alumni had their fill of each this year. The holiday break began with a happy hour for alumni from the classes of 1999 to 2010 at Mother’s Federal Hill Grille on Wednesday, November 27. The following morning, young (and future) alumni from the classes of 2010 to 2014 enjoyed a pancake breakfast served by Headmaster Charlie Britton in Lamborn Hall. In anticipation of the demolition of the dining hall later this school year, the alumni “autographed” the walls; and after breakfast they were treated to tours of The Edward St. John Student Center. On Friday, former girls soccer and boys lacrosse players had a chance to work off their turkey dinners with friendly contests on campus.
