2015 Commencement Celebration

The decision to hold Commencement on Childs Memorial Terrace on Friday, June 5 was risky, yet wise. Until the last minute, under dripping skies, faculty and students joined crews from housekeeping and maintenance and wiped down the hundreds of soaking wet chairs. By the time the Class of 2015 processed out of Tagart Memorial Chapel, through a line of cheering faculty members, umbrellas were closed and the focus was on the graduates. Shortly before at the Baccalaureate Service, the Class of 2015 was left with words of inspiration from Noreen Lidston who is moving from her position as Head of Lower School to bus driver. During the Commencement ceremony, Mike Smith '15 spoke about love and respect in the context of the past school year.
