Sensational Spirit Parade
McDonogh’s Spirit Parade on Friday, November 7, the day before the 99th football game against Gilman, was a star-studded, orange and black-wearing, kazoo-humming event. Retired parade marshal Dave Harley joined Kevin Costa for his inaugural parade as the leader; and Henry Rosenberg, Jr. ’48 and his wife Dot were the special guests who rode in the first golf cart. A 50-piece Middle School marching band added to the festive atmosphere. Following the parade and a pep rally, girls from the junior class took on the seniors in a friendly game of “powder puff” football. Watch all the fun here.
