8th Grade Closes Middle School Chapter
Faculty, family, and friends gathered at Childs Memorial Terrace on Monday, June 6 for the Eighth Grade Closing Ceremony. The underlying theme of the morning, which Headmaster Charlie Britton, student speakers Daniel K. and Alexandrea D., and Middle School Head Darren Ford each touched on was: take advantage of the all opportunities available in Upper School so you will have no regrets. “Be willing to get out of your comfort zone next fall," said Ford. "Seek out a new friend, try something you have never tried before, or work a little different or harder at your academic work. Don’t settle for the same.”
