Historical Facts Board Games Make Studying Fun
Historical became hysterical when the AP World History students created their own historical facts board games that became study guides for the exam given in early May. Working in groups, students focused on a specific period of history and created a board game, which incorporated important events and historical figures for that period. The project not only reinforced their knowledge of world history but playing each other’s games was a fun way to study for the exam. Their teacher, Joanne Cho, who played the games with her students to test the finished products, said, “I laughed so much my stomach hurt!”
