8th Grader to Announce Ravens Draft Pick
During the Middle School assembly on April 20, eighth grader T.J. O. got the surprise of his life when Baltimore Ravens Coach John Harbaugh, in a videotaped message, asked him to name the team’s first pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. T.J.’s dream-come-true was made possible by Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic. Upon hearing the news, the entire student body erupted in cheers as Ravens cheerleaders and the team’s mascot, Poe, surrounded a stunned T.J. on stage!
