102nd McDonogh Gilman Football Game
The 102nd McDonogh vs. Gilman football game brought the community together for a common goal—camaraderie in support of the Eagles. After the school-wide Spirit Parade on Friday, November 3, alumni from both schools gathered at Ryan’s Daughter in Belvedere Square for happy hour. The following afternoon, alumni, fans, and families arrived at John McDonogh Stadium for fun, food trucks, and of course, football. Before kickoff, senior players, cheerleaders, and announcers were recognized. Then, the Eagles got to work battling the Greyhounds. Fans stuck it out to the bitter end when the rain began to fall and Headmaster Charlie Britton handed the Price Trophy over to Gilman…but just for the year.
