Perfect Afternoon for Pumpkin Picking
Dressed for a fall afternoon on the farm, the kindergarten classes took a hayride to Roots on Monday, October 16 to pick the pumpkins they planted in June. Each student chose two pumpkins: one to take home and another, which they will use to make pies and bread in the culinary classroom. The annual outing also included a walk through the corn maze, apple eating, and a visit with the hens.
