McDonogh Hosts FIRST Robotics Competition
The RL Center underwent an impressive transformation into a full-scale robotic arena as it hosted the Chesapeake District Qualifier competition on March 16-17. The event saw 38 teams from Maryland, D.C., and Virginia pit their mechanical creations against each other in a series of specific challenges. The McDonogh FRC Robotics Team will be traveling to a second district qualifier competition this weekend in Blacksburg, VA. The teams with top scores from their district qualifying competitions will move on to the district championships in April.
