Pi Day is a Smash
March 14 (3.14) is known around the world as Pi Day. The Middle School went all out in its celebration of the mathematical constant that is the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. Beginning with a math competition between students and the Heads of School, that ended with Mr. Farace '87, Mr. Ford, and Ms. Bowders wearing pie, the day also featured a Pi digit memorization contest, a poster contest, and a pie baking competition. Just like Pi, the fun at McDonogh never ends.
