Sharing Joy (and cookies) with Brightwood
Smiles, songs, and cookies are a few of our lower schooler's favorite things, and on Tuesday, December 11, students from prefirst and Mr. William's fourth-grade class shared them with the residents of Brightwood Retirement Community. To the delight of their audience, the students shared a short story and sang festive holiday songs, before giving each resident a votive candle. Then the eager Eagles served their new friends cookies and punch and sat down for a nice chat.
