Shrek the Musical Hits All the Right Notes
Students, teachers, family, and friends who poured out of the Horn Theatre following the four performances of of Shrek the Musical (April 11-14), could be heard singing “I’m a Believer” and gushing over the production featuring a talented cast and crew of more than 60 Upper and Middle School students. In the program notes for the show, Director Vince Musgrave said, “In true McDonogh fashion, they have come together as an amazing cast and family to present this wonderful extension of fairy tale folklore.”
He continued, “But, what makes the story extraordinary is the message that what makes the characters different makes them special and that what makes them special makes them strong.”
