Wrestling Alumni Enjoy Reception, Match
McDonogh wrestling alumni spanning 60 years, their families, and friends gathered for a reception on Saturday, November 3 before the College Wrestling Dual Meet between Ohio State University and the U.S. Naval Academy. The event was held at McDonogh in recognition of Ohio State’s top wrestler Myles Martin, a member of McDonogh’s Class of 2015. Wrestling Coach Pete Welch who welcomed the 75 guests to the gathering, spoke about the success of the program over the last 26 years and how it would not have been possible without the support of the McDonogh wrestling community. Then, the group joined hundreds of other wrestling fans for the match in Alumni Memorial Field House.
