Alumni Enjoy Southern Hospitality in Atlanta
Martha Parr Ille ’89 and husband Jean-François Ille hosted an intimate gathering of 25 alumni and guests at their Atlanta home on Monday, January 13. Alumni from the classes of 1965 to 2010 connected with one another while remembering the “good ol’ days” at McDonogh. Head of School Dave Farace ’87 provided an update on the school’s strong enrollment, low attrition, selective faculty, and philanthropic successes before describing a personal “Aha!” moment he had as a McDonogh student. (Look for his story in the next issue of McDonogh Magazine in late February.) Several alumni shared their own “Aha!” moments, which focused on the caring community and sense of family they felt as a student and now as a graduate.
