One Potato, Two Potato
Fourth graders filled the fields of Roots Farm on Tuesday, September 10 to help Farmer Hood haul in potatoes. This season, Roots has produced over 8,000 pounds of potatoes that have been donated to various food kitchens and missions in the Baltimore area. While that is a lot of potatoes, there is still close to another 12,000 pounds ready to be harvested. Some of the potatoes are also being used by Sage Dining for student meals.
