Directed by Assistant Theatre Manager Tyler Groton, a cast and crew of more than 40 Upper School students and faculty including, Head of School Dave Farace ’87, delivered an exceptionally moving and thought-provoking production of The Laramie Project on November 8-10. Seated on the stage of the Horn Theatre, the audience could not help but be drawn in and connect with the performers as they conveyed the diverse reactions of the people of Laramie, Wyoming, following the 1998 murder of Matthew Shepard, an openly gay college student. The production was both a haunting reminder of the evil man is capable of as well as an inspiring look at how people come together to enact change after such a tragedy.
