Despite gloomy weather, students in kindergarten and prefirst had an "eggsellent" day on Thursday, April 1. Each class took some time for an egg hunt, where students had to find three specific eggs: one with their first name, one with their last name, and one with their birth date. It was a great way to pair name and date recognition with a fun activity that left every student very "hoppy."
Lower schoolers were not the only ones to get in on the egg-finding fun. Looking to add a little joy before the long weekend, the eighth grade team surprised their students with an early morning egg hunt. More than 450 eggs were spread across the W. Boulton Dixon Turf Field, and in the mix was one gold and one silver egg, each containing a Chick-Fil-A gift card. What a safe way for the entire eighth grade to have some fun together!
