Middle schoolers recently returned to campus for two fun-filled orientation days. Fifth and sixth graders came back on Thursday, September 24 and quickly became familiar with the many changes that have been made since they were last at School in March. Among the accomodations is the addition of two temporary buildings located on the fields behind the construction site of the new Greenebaum Middle School. The temporary structures provide students with large classrooms that will give them all the space they need to learn in a safe, physically-distanced environment. Seventh and eighth graders returned on Friday, September 25, and quickly became accustomed to the new safety protocols all students are required to follow.
With recess, mask breaks, a picnic-style lunch, and trips to Roots Farm, all grades enjoyed the outdoors as much as possible before their return to class next week. While it may look and feel a little different this year, everyone in the Middle School was excited to be back together.
