R-Ls Learn What It Means to Lead
McDonogh’s Rollins-Luetkemeyer (R-L) Leaders gathered in Frostburg, MD for a week-long late-July retreat during which they planned for the upcoming school year and bonded with each other through fun and adventure. Staying in cabins and enjoying a little time away, the group developed a list of service projects, loaded their calendars with events, and made plans to assist the Admissions Office and the Boarding program. It wasn’t all work, however, as they also participated in activities including whitewater rafting and geocaching. Head of School Dave Farace ’87 even joined them for a fly-fishing tutorial. It was an exciting and productive week for the group who will be a face of student leadership in the coming year.
