Spring Concert Series
Music has been in the air at McDonogh as the Middle and Upper Schools have enjoyed a series of spring concerts. Both Middle and Upper School string ensembles played a wonderful mix of classic and contemporary tunes during the Spring Strings Concert on Tuesday, April 26. During Reunion Weekend, the Upper School Choral Concert was a bittersweet experience as current and alumni singers said goodbye to Philip Olsen who is retiring after 30 years as Choir Director. Finally, the Middle and Upper School bands combined for the first time in a decade for a concert on May 4, which fittingly had tribute to the songs of Star Wars.
