Brilliant Ideas Showcased at Invention Convention
After learning how inventions can impact the way people live through hands-on exploration of a typewriter, rotary phone, old cameras, and an old-fashioned iron, children in PK got busy creating their own inventions to make life easier. On Friday, March 10, they hosted an Invention Convention. Students proudly showcased their inventions including a robot that can feed cats, a computer that can work by itself, and a Zamboni with a shovel to pick up snow on the soccer field at McDonogh and on the playground so kids can still play outside when it snows.
