The Hope Chapel
The Lower School filled Tagart Chapel on February 8 for one of the most anticipated chapels of the year. The Hope Chapel is the culmination of the combined work of Greatest Good McDonogh and the second and fourth grade classes, which started with the making of Blankets of Hope. During the chapel, students reflected on hope and courage by reading original poetry, singing songs, and giving blankets of hope to members of the McDonogh community who have experienced loss or are caring for sick family members. The remaining blankets were contributed to The Red Devils, an organization that provides support to breast cancer patients and their families. It was a beautiful day to gather and reflect on those we love in our community. Watch a recording of the chapel here.
