Welcome Reception for Families of Black Students
More than 120 Black students and their families enjoyed a beautiful evening and a dessert reception on Wednesday, September 28 on the Ritter Terrace. The event, hosted by the Black Alumni Committee of the Alumni Association, was an opportunity for alumni, students, parents, faculty, and staff to see old friends and make new acquaintances.
After Head of School David J. Farace ’87 welcomed attendees, Director of Equity and Inclusion Enaye Englenton, MPA Equity and Inclusion Committee Co-chair Kanika Jackson P’30, Black Alumni Committee Co-Chairs Kellee Parrott Gonzalez ’96 and David Holland ’90 shared their roles and described the many ways in which students and parents can engage with the community, connect with each other, and find support.
