Well, Well, Well Concert Hits High Notes
The Middle School Rock Shop bands, in collaboration with the Eighth-Grade Leadership, hit all the right notes at the annual Well, Well, Well Concert on Friday evening, February 24. Four student bands, as well as a faculty band, had the audience on their feet with their covers of popular songs from Taylor Swift and Harry Styles to Frank Zappa and Curtis Mayfield. In addition to the performances by the talented students, the leadership group arranged for refreshments and held a lively raffle. By the end of the evening, more than $1000 was raised to benefit earthquake victims in Syria and Turkey and to support Ascend Through Music—a children's music program of the Living Classrooms Foundation.
