150th-Anniversary Visit With West Coast Alumni
McDonogh's 150th-anniversary tour continued on the West Coast this week with stops in Los Angeles and San Francisco. It was the first visit since 2018 and California alumni were happy to reconnect in person. The first stop, on Monday, March 4 was at the Griffin Club L.A. More than 35 Eagles, spanning 67 years (from the classes of 1955 through 2022) flocked to the event where they mixed, mingled, and exchanged McDonogh memories. The second gathering was held two days later, on Wednesday, March 6, at the 2000 Post Apartments lounge. Thirteen alumni from the classes of 1958 to 2018 enjoyed conversation and camaraderie. During both events, Head of School Dave Farace ’87 gave updates about the School and student life and extended heartful appreciation to all for being part of McDonogh’s 150-year journey.
