McDonogh had a robust presence (seven student leaders and 11 participants) at The Baltimore Student Diversity Leadership Conference (BSDLC) held at Sandy Spring Friends School on Saturday, November 11. The event, designed to foster community, facilitate learning, and affirm student voice and leadership, drew over 160 students and 35 faculty and staff from more than 26 AIMS-affiliated schools. Workshops delved into crucial topics such as understanding structures of oppression, LGBTQ+ pride, anti-Asian hate, allyship, and advocacy, among others.
