The NAIS People of Color Conference (PoCC) and Student Diversity Leadership Conference (SDLC) saw strong representation from McDonogh, with five faculty members and five students in attendance. Among them, Olivia Grant stood out for her participation in the PoCC choir, adding uplifting energy as the conference drew to a close. This year's theme, "Gateways to Freedom," resonated throughout the event and was brought to life by impactful keynote speakers Gouldy Muhammad and Dr. Christopher Emdin. Held in St. Louis, MO from November 29 to December 2, the conference provided an enriching platform for discussions, workshops, and networking, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in independent schools.
