Reunion Weekend 2025 brought a mix of events that welcomed alumni of all ages back to campus. More than 650 alumni and guests gathered on April 25-27 eager to reconnect with friends and discover the latest updates at McDonogh.
The festivities began Friday afternoon with a memorial service in Tagart Chapel, followed by a guided walking tour of campus. That evening, alumni returned in impressive numbers for the lively Alumni Cocktail Party, held on the green outside the Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Middle School. During the celebration, Ellis McKennie ’15 and Joe Meurer ’10 were honored with the Young Alumni Award, and retired faculty member Laddie Levy ’63 received the Board of Trustees Distinguished Service Award.
On Saturday, alumni who have reached their 50th reunion gathered at the Half Century Club Induction Ceremony, followed by a second walking tour. Then, hundreds of alumni and their families enjoyed the ever-popular Crab Feast and Family Picnic in Paterakis Hall. The weekend culminated with class reunion parties for alumni with class years ending in 0s and 5s, including the Class of 1975’s 50th reunion celebration.
The weekend wrapped up on Sunday with a brunch hosted by the Black Alumni Committee at Mama’s On The Half Shell in Owings Mills—capping off a memorable and joy-filled Reunion Weekend.
Photos from class parties will be posted later this week!
