An Inspiring Visit from Kwame Alexander

Middle schoolers had the incredible opportunity to welcome award-winning author and poet Kwame Alexander to campus on Monday, March 3. Known for his powerful storytelling and lyrical prose, Alexander has inspired readers of all ages with books like The Crossover, Booked, and The Undefeated. His work often explores themes of perseverance, family, and the love of words, making him a perfect guest to speak to our students about the importance of reading, writing, and never giving up.

Beyond his inspiring message, Alexander took the time to personally connect with students by signing their books, making the experience even more memorable. His visit was not just a talk, but a celebration of storytelling, creativity, and resilience.
