The annual All-School Holiday assembly on Friday, December 13, featured the traditional theme of discovering the Holiday Spirit. This year’s story, inspired by the movie Inside Out 2, was woven around performances by singers, dancers, and musicians from all three divisions.
In the story, scripted by the Upper School improv class, Riley, played by Upper School student Katherine Schlossnagle, is on a quest to find the elusive Holiday Spirit. Encouraged by her emotions—Joy, Sadness, Anxiety, Anger, Fear, and Disgust—she explores a variety of activities to rediscover the magic of the season.
In the end, Riley realizes that the Holiday Spirit isn’t something you find in a single activity or performance—it’s something you feel when you connect with others, share kindness, and embrace the joy of the season! The assembly concluded with Riley joining the Upper School choir, leaving the audience filled with warmth and cheer.
