Model UN Success
This past weekend, January 16-19, 13 students on the Model UN team dove headfirst into debating historical and current national and international issues. Competing alongside top students from across the globe, they showcased incredible dedication, teamwork, and diplomacy.
Honorable mentions included Mark Cherches and Arjun Sood who stood out for their outstanding contributions! Here's what they had to say about their work:
Mark Cherches:
"In my committee, The Watergate Scandal, I represented Ben Bradlee, Editor-In-Chief of The Washington Post, and played a key role in investigating and reporting corruption. Collaborating with peers, I worked to uphold public trust through effective reporting while prosecuting wrongdoing."
Arjun Sood:
"In my committee, I represented Ryan Salame, CEO of FTX Digital Markets. I successfully launched a new cryptocurrency that skyrocketed in value and built strong international relations with nations like the U.S., China, and Canada."
