The Magic of the Kindness Countdown
December in the Middle School is all about spreading kindness with the Kindness Countdown, spearheaded by the Eighth Grade Leadership Kindness Committee. Throughout the month, students participate in small but meaningful acts designed to brighten the School community.
Each day features a unique challenge, such as holding the door open, making cards for teachers and staff, or cleaning up campus to show care for the environment. Another activity involves creating paper snowflakes that share acts of kindness students have witnessed, a touching reminder of the impact of small gestures.
The countdown concludes with inviting someone new to sit at lunch and wishing everyone a happy break. These activities offer a simple yet powerful way to end the year with positivity and encourage students to carry kindness into 2025 and beyond.
