100th Day of School
The Lower School celebrated the 100th day of school with much hoopla on Thursday, February 22. First graders made crowns, kindergartners and their teachers came to school with 100 items stuck to their clothes, and classes throughout the building enjoyed special snacks and math activities involving the number 100.
Head of Lower School Noreen Lidston entertained students by dressing up as “Zero the Hero.” In a surprise visit to the Kindergarten she told students, “A lot of people think that the number zero is a big nothing, but you and I know that it can make numbers bigger. It can turn the number one into 10 and the number 10 into 100!”
We are 100% sure that the 100th day of school is a day students will always remember!
