The Middle School is making sense out of cents.
Students in Mrs. Mulligan's sixth grade advisory group counted up 2,016 pennies and presented them to Mrs. Norry, a.k.a. The Penny Lady, for the Million Penny drive. McDonogh students in all three divisions are trying to collect one million pennies throughout this school year. So far, the Middle School has counted over 25,000 pennies and has many more already collected. Students continue to scour their homes for all stray pennies to add to the collection. In October, the first campus-wide contest will begin among the divisions.
