Let's Make the Youth Sports Experience a Positive One
The Positive Coaching Alliance works with youth sports leaders, coaches, and parents to help make athletics an enjoyable and meaningful life experience for children and teens. For more information on this group, visit the organization's Web site.
Two points of information for parents: All McDonogh coaches, Middle and Upper schools, will participate in a two-hour workshop on Monday, August 25 with the PC Alliance, and any parent who coaches a McDonogh rec lacrosse team will be required to attend a February session.
Let's make a concerted effort between family and school to join hands and hearts together on this important topic. Thanks for all your support this past year on the fields and courts. Have a safe and enjoyable summer.
