Lower School Addition Dedicated
With confetti cannons blasting, the 15,000-square-foot addition to the Lower School building, Elderkin Hall, was dedicated Wednesday, September 5 at 9:30 a.m.
The entire student body, the faculty, and donors to the project were on hand for the dedication, which also marked the traditional opening of school. After welcomes from senior class and student government leaders and a warm greeting from two members of the pre-first class, these four students joined Headmaster Bo Dixon for the official ribbon-cutting. Then, as he does every year at this time, Mr. Dixon rang the bell to signal the opening of school.
