Parents, "You are the Coach at Home"
Following her September 17 meeting with team captains and coaches, Director of Athletics Mickey Deegan has these words for parents:
"My hope is that you are cognizant about what your teen is doing on the weekend. It's time that parents step up to the plate and say 'no' to dangerous behavior. You are the coach at home. It's a tough job being a parent. But you are the only one who can reinforce the importance of making intelligent decisions. Let's help all our kids to be safe this school year."
