Ten Sign NCAA Letters of Intent

Ten seniors signed NCAA letters of intent on Wednesday, November 12 to play sports in Division I college and university programs. In a signing ceremony held in the athletes' honor, McDonogh coaches congratulated and commended their players. Then, students and parents sealed those college commitments with their signatures.

  • Alex P. will wrestle for Rutgers University.
  • Giles S. will swim for the University of Tennessee.
  • Renee P. will swim for Niagara University.
  • Robby O. will play lacrosse for Mt. St. Mary's University.
  • Patrick T. will play lacrosse for Ohio State University.
  • Curtis H. will play lacrosse for the University of Maryland.
  • Kitty C. will play lacrosse for the University of Florida.
  • Molly F. will play lacrosse for Penn State University.
  • Megan F. will play lacrosse for Ohio State University.
  • Colby R. will play lacrosse for the University of Florida.

All the coaches noted that in addition to superior skills, each of the honored athletes have demonstrated an outstanding work ethic, good character, and team leadership during their McDonogh careers.

Athletic Director Mickey Deegan reminded them that "although you will change your colors from black and orange, to red, black, green, or blue, you will always be a McDonogh Eagle in our eyes."
