Third-Graders Give Thanks to Mr. Fisher, Ms. Brown
Eager students told what they had chosen to give their favorite housekeeping staff members: lotions, tea, popcorn, cookies, hot chocolate, soap, gift certificates, and more. The gift-wrapped bounty overflowed two large wicker laundry baskets.
When the celebration concluded, James Fisher expressed his own deep appreciation. "This is the greatest thing that's happened to me since I came to McDonogh," he said. Fisher has been on the staff for 11 years, Brown for five.
