Upper Schoolers Begin Habitat for Humanity Projects

On Sunday, September 23, seven Upper School students and math teacher David Engler participated in their first Habitat for Humanity project of the year. Scott E., Ravi S., Blake S., Eric M., Emily H., Luisa S., and Ashley F. spent the day with rollers and brushes painting the interior of a house on Baltimore's Montpelier Street.

This was the first of the monthly Chesapeake Habitat trips that Engler has planned. Said Engler, "Some of the students are using this as a way to fulfill their community service requirement, and some came just because they wanted to. It was a good day, and all seemed to enjoy themselves."
