On July 15, 16, and 17, the Young Actor’s Theatre based at McDonogh will present Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The production features 41 young actors ranging in age from 10 to 16, and is directed by McDonogh alumni Cara Costantini ’98, Jess Davis ’02, and Sarah Levitt ’03. Performances will take place in McDonogh’s Ceres M. Horn Theatre at 7:30 p.m. on Friday July 15; 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday July 16; and 2 p.m. on Sunday July 17. Tickets are $7. Young Actor’s Theatre is in its twelfth year under the direction of founders Wanda and Ken Waller, teachers at Roland Park Country School and McDonogh, respectively. Those accepted into the company receive instruction in all aspects of musical theater, including acting, vocal music, lighting, set design, costuming and make-up. Admission to the five-week summer program is by audition only.
