Top Scholars Inducted into The Cum Laude Society
Top scholars in the classes of 2009 and 2010 were inducted into the school's chapter of The Cum Laude Society on Monday, April 20 in the Ceres M. Horn Theatre. Bo Dixon, retired headmaster, gave the keynote address.
New initiates from the Class of 2009 include:
Tristan A., Sean B., Nicole E., Natalie F., Jessica F., Alex G., Ruth G., Emily H., Hannah K., Jennifer L., Gianna M., Kelsey P., Patrick S., and Emily T. They will join 14 classmates who were inducted last year as juniors.
New initiates from the Class of 2010 include:
Mariya B., Daniel B., Catherine B., Hannah D., Teresa F., Adam G., Alex H., Tyler K., Harry L., Nathaniel M., Alex R.,
Emily R., Zack S., Eric T., and William Z.
The Cum Laude Society is modeled after the Phi Beta Kappa collegiate honor society. McDonogh School has had its own chapter since 1955.
