Change to School Calendar
At last, school is back on a normal schedule following seven straight snow days and three late openings. There was a great deal of joy on campus last week as friends reunited, classes resumed, and activities were rescheduled.
Many of you are wondering how we are going to regain teaching time lost to snow days. Given the longstanding plans of many of our families for the days between March 12 and March 23, spring break will remain intact. However, we have decided to hold classes on the day after Easter, Monday, April 5.
The extended snow break has required all of us to be flexible. The Upper School, for example, is holding classes this week instead of winter term exams. Middle School families will be hearing from Head of the Middle School Darren Ford shortly about some adjustments being made there. A number of students and teachers were able to exchange assignments over the break, as well, which kept the educational process going while we were digging out.
Thank you for your patience following these unusual two weeks.
